Happy New Year
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you’re not too hungover.
Well it’s all back to normal now. Noses to the grindstone and all that. Although I’ve closed up shop till the 7 Jan I’ve been quite busy doing stuff online.
I’ve just set up a shop at DaWanda. What is DaWanda? Well it’s a fab new marketplace for people you make and sell handmade products. There are all sorts of crafts on sale there. It’s a little bit like Etsy but it is geared at the European market. I do belive it is German based.
For the moment I have only added my tumbler candles. I’ll get the rest of my products listed over the next week or so.
I have also opened an eBay shop too, though I’ve not added any products to it yet as my internet connection has been so slow over the holiday season. That’ll get worked on over the next couple of weeks too.
I’m hoping that having the 2 new online shops will give me more web exposure over 2008. My next step once they’re done is to find some UK based shopping directories and see if I can get my main site on them. There is just so much to be done to get an online business up and running. Whoever said making money online was easy was a big fat liar. Still I know that all the work and effort will be worth it in the end.
