My Tumbler Candles

Just thought I’d post a photo of my tumbler candles that I make.
For those that don’t know I work with soy wax. I like to leave my soy wax uncoloured when I make the tumblers as I feel that they look really classy, like those really expensive Jo Malone candles.
Soy wax set up as a lovely creamy colour, it will naturally take on the colour of the fragrance oil added. For instance any oil with orange will take on a slight orange hue. One of my more popular fragrances is called Monkey Farts and is primarily banana based and this leaves it with a slight yellow tint.
Personally, I find that by leaving them in their natural state they will complement any colour scheme you have in your home. When I used to buy candles before I made my own, that used to be my biggest bugbear. I would love the smell but the colour would completely clash with my decor so I wouldn’t bother with it. I have since found out that I’m not the only one to have had that problem.
I think I made the right choice in offering them uncoloured as in the 2 weeks up to Christmas I sold 27 of them! I know that some of them were bought as Christmas pressies. I do hope that their recipients are pleased with them.
